If you can’t do justice to Vanilla, you might as well pack your bags.
As the summer monsoon of 1995 set in, we set about establishing some realistic standards and goals. The primary objective was to perfect a beautiful Vanilla Ice Cream that does justice to this flavour from heaven above.

The three of us huddle over our books, discussing decisions, methods, ingredients, weather conditions, heat, freezing times, and various variants and permutations. It helps that one of us (usually Ali) is normally calm enough to keep the discussion on track and negativity from rearing its ugly head.
