promising thriller based on several Hollywood road movies fails to deliver

Rules - Pyar ka Superhit Formula (2003)

An important film dealing with a topical subject with maturity

Dreadful terrorism based potboiler manages only to dull the viewers senses!

Paheli (2005)

sincere effort by Amol Palekar using the folk tale Duvidha as its theme

Page 3 (2005)

A surprisingly biting satire on Mumbai high society

Paisa Vasool (2004)

Intended "Laugh Riot" falls rather flat on its face!

The Hills Have Eyes (2006)

One of cinema's rarities.  A remake that improves on the original classic

One 2 ka 4 (2001)

Slick action thriller a la Lethal Weapon falls way short of the mark

Officer (2001)

Cheap reworking of Vertigo would have Hitch turning in his grave!

Nazar (2005)

dire revamp of "The Eyes of Laura Mars". More crap from the Bhatts

Nayak - The Real Hero (2001)

Politically oriented remake of South Indian hit with Anil Kapoor is all at sea

Na Tum Na Jaano Na Hum (2002)

a reasonably engaging, typical and rather old-fashioned love triangle

Naach (2004)

Another film that spurns Bollywood formula from RGV - well worth a look

Musafir (2005)

Cheap, flashy and decidedly tacky regurgitation of Oliver Stone's U-Turn

Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost (2003)

turgid, pointless and boring film with a serious Lagaan wannabe complex

Mujhse Dosti Karoge (2002)

Brilliant cast, locations and lavish production values but no decent script

Mela (2000)

Not to be taken seriously and enjoyed for what it is

Masti (2004)

Cheap Bollywood take on the American Pie genre - avoid!

Mann (1999)

Misguided attempt at a lightweight, sensitive love story.....a dud.

Mangal Pandey - The Rising (2005)

Impressively mounted historical epic - ambitious, impressive and flawed

Iron Giant, The (1999)

Delightful animation with a pacifist message

Main Hoon Na (2004)

Frothy, totally entertaining 70's style "wholesome family entertainer"

Humanoids From The Deep AKA Monster (1980)

80's creature feature is sublimely ridiculous, very silly but hugely enjoyable

Love ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega (2001)

Not so comical reworking of Ruthless People is "time pass" material at best.
